My Tech Origin Story
In gradeschool I got ahold of a hilarious copy of “C for Dummies”, and everything changed. I then read “C++ for Dummies”, the “HTML Bible”, and several more. For Christmas one year, my parents got me the Borland C++ compiler. Good parents. Happiness.
I wrote tools to do my math homework for me, and a few other gizmos to learn how to code and have fun while being a hermit at the time. Given my C++ skills were restricted to DOS and Visual C++’s window service API was too foreign to me, my interfaces were composed of ASCII characters.
